Charlene Furukawa

Born and raised in Southern California and relocated to Las Vegas in 2021. I have always enjoyed creating and crafting.

I worked in the Prosthetic and Orthotic field for approximately 20 years.  After that I decided to work for our local school district, first as an aide then 9 years in their before and after school child care program.   While working in their child care program I was able to teach the kids many different forms of arts and crafts.

My interest in Jewelry making started over 30 years ago taking Silversmithing and Stained Glass classes at the local evening adult school.  After retiring here in Las Vegas, I have been able to return to jewelry making and crafting in general.  I enjoy all aspects of creating jewelry , but enjoy working with metal.  Wire Arts, Silversmithing and Metal and Polymer Clay work are my current passions.
