Braiding with 4 – 8mm gemstone rounds can often result in unwanted thread showing.
In this class students will learn how to eliminate this problem by moving multiple seed beads to fill in the gaps.
Complete instructions including photographs are included.
Students will also have an opportunity to learn how to use a bead spinner to load seed beads in an efficient manner.
If you have a Marudai (a traditional Japanese braiding stand) I will show you how to adapt the braiding instructions.
PREREQUISITS: Round braid Kumihimo
TOOLS: Round Kumihimo disk, Kumihimo weight, size 10 beading needle, Fireline, scissors or thread snips, E6000 glue
