In this beginner class, expert Jerrine Kirsch will walk you through eight basic embroidery stitches to create a beautiful wool Pin Cushion top.
The 8 stitches are Back stitch, Daisy stitch, Running stitch, Outline stitch, French knot, Chain Stitch, Whipped stitch & Straight stitch.
Then, Jerrine will provide guidance to embellish your Pin Cushion with beads.
As this is more of a free form style, you can add as few or as many beads as you would like.
This class will be a prerequisite for future classes.
There will be a kit to purchase for the class, it will include:
- 1 piece of 6 x 6 inch fabric
- 1 piece of 6 x 6 inch wool fabric
- 3 yards, 12 wt. black pearl cotton
- 1 size 22 needle
- 3 different color 8wt. pearl cotton balls
PREREQUISITES: Needle Crafts
TOOLS: Scissors, 6lb Fireline, beading needles size 10 or 12, pencil, Bead Mat
