This bracelet uses the traditional Kongoh Gumi round braid and focal beads with a 3mm hole.
The 3mm hole allows unbraided cord strands to go through but is small enough to prevent the bead from sliding on the cord and thus stays in place.
Students will learn how to measure cords and load them on the braiding disk, add focal beads, and glue-in end caps.
If you have a Marudai (a traditional Japanese braiding stand) I will show you how to adapt the braiding instructions.
