Create a multi strand necklace from a traditional Kumihimo round braid.
You will learn how to incorporate gemstone chips with acrylic beads to make a layered necklace.
This necklace was made using very small gemstone chips.
Micro chips are often difficult to use as the holes are often too small for the braiding cord, however in this class you learn a unique technique in order to use these beads.
You will receive instructions for both micro chips or larger chips.
Complete instructions are included.
If you have a Marudai (a traditional Japanese braiding stand) I will show you how to adapt the braiding instructions.
